275/70r18, ~47lbs. On par with the Grabber ATX I just installed. Probably would have gone with the nittos if they were available a few months ago.[/QUOTE]
How do you like those Grabber ATX tires? I was planning on getting those until I seen these recently released.

I had them installed and immediately went on a 3500 mile trip from South Carolina, up to and around Maine then back home. Most of the time towing a 4k-ish lb enclosed trailer.

Traction: Trip was mostly on dry, paved roads. Limited rain, around 50-60miles of dirt/gravel roads, no snow or mud. No issues with traction at all.

Appearance: They look great! Overall size, i measured when installed and they are around 32.5" tall on the truck. This is a good 1+" taller than OEM. Of course this is also comparing new 14/32" tread tires to the mostly worn OEM Michelins.

Weight: I'm doing an oil change this week, so i'll rotate and weigh the tire/wheel combo just to verify. By my calculations, should be under 80lbs total per corner.

Noise: This is what surprised me. They are not what i would call quiet. At least not what i would classify as quiet for a new tire. Not mud tire loud, but i would put them on par with K02s i had on my last truck. Louder than OEM Michelins. Loud enough that when driving with windows up but radio off it's obviously tire noise. Turn the radio on and it's covered up pretty quickly. Of course this is all subjective.

Overall I'm happy with the tires, they seem to be wearing fine so far. If i was shopping tires again though and the price was comparable, i'd be temped to try the Nittos. The tire noise is my only turn off of these tires so far.

Air pressure calls for 33-35psi but gonna bump up to 40psi. Max 44psi. So far so good. Definitely more meat on them then g2’s.

They still are, absolute crap all over the fucking road. Nitto web site "Nitto Ridge Grapplers" 4 stars in the rain. My ass.....l I hate driving my truck in the rain. Almost at the point of just trashing the tires all together for safety sake.Stock Michelins never any issues.

Yea I didn’t care for my g2s in the rain. These seem a lot better though. No issues.

I am looking at putting the identical tires on my truck. I am trying to decide between the SL and the LT both in size 275/70r18. How do these feel on your truck? Do they feel too soft when you're cornering or anything? Thanks for the post and pictures!

I can give a more in-depth opinion after this weekend. I’m taking a 4 1/2 hr trip to visit my son at Iowa State & go to the football game. However, with maybe 50-60 miles so far they drive & feel good. Don’t feel that much different than the stock Michelins so far.

So far so good. I’ve put 1500+ miles on them since I got them. They drive similar to the stock Michelins that were on there. I’ve only had 1 day of rain to drive in & they were good in the rain. Only downside is my mpg’s are down between 0.5-1mpg with these vs the stock size. Could be to the slight size increase throwing the computer off or the slight increase in weight vs the stock tires weight.

Good to know! The wet weather handling is a question we get a lot, being an all weather/all terrain tire. The slight decrease in MPG could definitely be the weight difference, at almost 50 lbs. each.

Hello. For anyone else who is interested, I have a 2011 Tundra Double Cab. I have been trying to decide on tire size and brand/model for months, and I ended up going with the new Nitto Terra Grappler G3's in 275/70r18 116T. I installed some Bilstein 6112 coilovers from Shock Surplus, had them set up on the 2nd clip for approx. 2.1" lift. My goal was to be level when the truck had 500 pounds or so in the bed because I took measurements with it like that and had exactly a 2" difference. However after installing th Bilsteins I ended up getting closer to 2.5" which put the front a little higher. I have been told the coilovers should settle a little after the first few weeks, so hopefully that is the case, but with the truck unloaded it looks great! Here is a before pics and a bunch of after pics! I also bought some used 2020 Tundra wheels and had them installed with the new tires, I think they look much better than the 2011 wheels. I've driven almost 200 miles on the new tires and coilovers and my first impression are really good. The tires feel great, and are pretty quiet, and the coilovers did great on some rough forest service roads today!
Last thing is I also installed 1.25" Bora spacers which brings the wheels to around a +25 offset and brings the tires about 3/4-1" outside of fenders...looks great. I don't think I would be happy with the 275 70 18 if I hadn't installed these spacers or bought wheels with around +25 offset.

Very interested in these tires myself, SL rated 275/70 are rare. I'm probably 2-3 months away from needing new tires so I hope more reviews come out beforehand.

I was worried that 275 70 18 was going to look too small on my Tundra. I was thinking about going with 285 70 18 or 295 70 18, but the 15-20 lbs extra per tire, mpg loss.... I just couldn't justify for a little bigger tire. Now that I have them I actually think the G3 275 70 18 with 1.25" wheel spacers, or +25 wheels look perfect on the second gen Tundra.

Has anyone purchased these in LT295/65R20? I'm looking at this size and would like to hear their experience so far.

I have about 1,700 miles on mine so far. Purchased in 275/70/18s, the weight is around 46lbs a tire. They're really quiet, as in same as the original HW tires I had. We've only had light snow this winter and I haven't had them in any mud yet but I'm very happy.

Got the same tire from Discount tire in the same size. Seems to be as quiet as the Michelins that came with the truck. Handled snow really well. We had a wee bit of snow here in Kansas, In 4WD it was unstoppable. I spent many hours driving in the snow to "test" them out. So far very happy

    Just starting
I've had the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my trucks for 15+ yrs. Had them on my 2008 Avalanche in the PNW rain (Oregon) for 80k miles, replaced them with another set before I moved to Texas and sold the truck @ 150k miles. Bought a 2015 Chevy Z71 and put them on IMMEDIATELY. (The stock Goodyears were DANGEROUS - my 1st trip home from the dealer and my truck fishtailed off the freeway offramp.) Put 60K miles on that set before I traded that truck in for the Toyota this year - and those tires still had lots of life left.

I plan on putting them on when the stock tires run out - maybe 30k miles - or sooner.

BTW, The Terra vs Trail vs Ridge vs Dune vs other Grapplers are different rubber compounds. Terra's are for on-road mostly - You only need anything other than the Terra's if you are doing serious off-roading. I did trails and forest roads in the Terra and they were fine, but I wasn't going over major rocks, obstacles, sand, mud, etc.

    …anymore…feedback…I am interested…lol

I have swore off larger tires in the past but now I am really getting the itch because I am planning on replacing my tires in May.

I have ran Nitto G2 in the past and I liked them a lot. Did very good in the rain, snow, and ice. I do not drive my truck like a Subaru WRX, with that said I believe I will be happy with the new version. Goodyear, as a whole, and Bfgoodrich have horrible compounds for the northeast. Michelin, Continental compounds are far superior. Nitto and even Yokohama have better compounds in their rubber make up. Because of my high commuting miles on my beater I get to try a lot of different tires.

I love that Nitto is making a P rated tire in 275/70R18 because E is way overrated for my usages. And I don’t know if I would be happy with a 265/70R18. FYI I have a 1 inch lift in the front and rear.

    Oh good, I average 17. I only do about 15% city/80% highway.
