    Pretty sure it was a wire brush and some goo gone. All the credit for them looking good belongs to the powder coaters.

    Both my spares still look like this:

    Do you have any more photos in better lighting? I have a SSM tundra and am considering powdercoating them black or doing just the beadlock.

    Another question. Did you replace the screws that hold the beadlock? I imagine that they will be too long when you remove the beadlock and maybe stick out but I am not sure.

    I did, just not screws. Glued these in: Nylon Plastic Snap-in Panel Plugs for 5/16" ID McMaster-Carr part number 9688K231
