    Yes. Its not waterproof, but I still put it on tires anyway. I just started using it from recco’s on this site. Prior I was using 30 year old old school Armor All (the good stuff with the UV protect formula before they changed it) on the dash.

    I also have some old school bottles of Urethane Protectant with UV and labeled ‘as seen on TV’ retro era. :D

    I put that on during special occasions.

    I recently replaced my plugs as well.
    180K-ish on old plugs. It was long over due.
    Edited in a link to my plugs I chose to use. Verified gap before install.
    After being under the hood again it has become clear I will soon be doing my vacuum lines. The ends of some are starting to crack.

    Nice. I'll bet you're not wrong about running better, especially with gaps that large.

    Your old plugs look positively beautiful compared to what I pulled out last week:

    All my gaps were considerably more than your largest, LOL. One plug took me 2 hours, 4 rounds of PB Blaster and lots of back/forth to get out. Plugs are cheap - told my wife I'll be changing these at minimum of once/year, even though it's doubtful I'll put more than 20K/year on.

    No, lol I was the one taking the photo. I was at my cousins shop. I have only a driveway to do vehicle repairs. Everything I've ever done to my truck myself has been in the weather. Lol

    These copper cores are only rated 20-30k anyways (iirc). I swap mine out every 8k with cleaned up back ups just so I can monitor engine health. Clean up the pulled ones and put them in on the next interval. Discard at 20k depending on condition.

Some of the hoses are generic sizes you can find at an auto parts store, while most are specifically designed and require OEM. Let us know how it turns out!

    A little trick on some of these lines is that you can cut a little bit of the ends off (the bad cracking part) and reinstall. I’ve done this trick on at least one line that I can remember of a few years ago. Most lines are long enough to spare the cut off sections.

    I am happy that you are adding these to your list. I've got one as well. Pops had the older NGK plugs installed when our transmission gave up the ghost. Our truck was part of 5TB... serial number transmission problems. According to my research, and pops the original transmission was too short. No one noticed until they started failing. The old plugs were installed 2007-2008ish. Lol I regularly check my fluids. Every other fill up at the pump.

    I won't let these plugs go that long anymore, but it is nice to know that if needed it can be held off for a while. Fuel economy excluded of course.

    Not sure about these or where they are made. I do know you can get Densos for about $55 each. More money than these reds, but they are the OEM (just not Toyota branded which are $110 each for the same Denso coil).

    Exactly. Last truck I had 10 years and I only put about 16-20k a year on. I'm guessing this'll be similar. Once a year should be a perfect interval for me, I figure.

    That's super clean! Both front fenders on mine have slight wrinkles from deer impacts over the years. One of these days when I have a second vehicle I'll fix all that correctly. I'm sure on my hour commute to work I'll hit another. Both ends of my chrome bumper have dents in them right around my foglights. I absolutely hate it.

    Thank you. Yeah. Mine has some dings, as well, around the rear bumper hitch area. Nothing major and not worth replacing. The compound worked wonders on the chrome finish. Never hit a deer, but have heard they are gnarly when you do. Had some jump over my car one time after slowing down for them running out of a crop field at night.

    I'm glad you escaped unscathed. I have hit several. I have been told I inherited that from my pops. He hits at least 3 deer a year. I am more fortunate than he is. I have hit far less than him. I totalled a 2006 Malibu maxx. I was rolling about 45 mph, and saw the deer on the left hand side of the road. I froze up, and watched it run right into the driver side headlight. Deployed every airbag that car had. I was fortunate that my hands were clear of the horn. I escaped the airbags with only a minor scrape on the inside of my forearm from where it had scraped me during deployment. Cabin filled with airbag dust. I rolled all the windows down, turned the ac on high, got out, and waited for the dust to clear.

    I drove it home. The deer was a little worse off. Lol I'll dig around and see if I can find a picture of it somewhere.

    How often do y'all change your spark plugs?

    I read it's recommended every 30K miles... The previous owner said he just replaced mine when I bought the truck a year and 20K ago. I have no clue what he put in or if they are the right ones. I don't have a rough idle, just a lack of throttle response.

    Iridiums are 90k?

    You’d have to pull one of yours to see which one you have. Might as well have some coppers on hand and swap them out. They are cheap at $2 each.

    The more I think about these, I seem to remember reading that these are suppose to generate 10% more spark than normal OEM’s.

    The above link had no reviews and neither did the other site I am remembering back. Scary taking a chance on a vital part on the engine.

    Funny thing about spark.
    Even if you get more voltage out of it.
    You gain nothing the small spark stock causes the boom. The flame up in the cylinder is dependent on how the air fuel mixed and how smooth the cylinder/combustion chamber and piston are.
    Want better flame fronts? Polish your combustion chambers and ceramic coat the piston heads. Only time spark will help is if it needs to jump a larger gap or your pushing serious power

    Ya know, I never found out whether it was a good idea to hook up my trans coolant lines to the bottom of my radiator. I have the V6 variant, which had a separate oil cooler for the transmission. When I replaced my radiator awhile back I noticed the new one had rubber caps on the ports where the V8 trans lines would hook up to.

    I was in a hurry to repair my truck as it is my daily driver. So I installed a new separate oil cooler since I boogered up the old one.

    I was hoping someone else had already tried this so I don't accidentally booger up something really expensive.

    Front Bilstein 6112 shocks & Bilstein springs. Rear Bilstein 5160 remote Reservoir shocks, Wheeler’s Off-road add-a-leafs. LED lighting. Pioneer Avic 7200NEX Nav Head unit. Borla cat back exhaust.
    The rubber caps are to keep the lines clean. The main thing the transmission lines in the radiator do is to keep the transmission in the proper operating range. In cold weather, it keeps it worm, in hot weather it keeps it cool. If you live somewhere it doesn’t get too cold, some people bypass the radiator, but you should put a thermostat in the trans lines that controls the fluid going through the trans cooler.

    I knew it was to keep it clean, I'm just curious whether bypassing the bypass and hooking the ATF lines directly to the radiator like v8 would be a good idea. Lol

    Sorry if I'm not making much sense, I am tired. Lol

    I can’t for the life of me remember where I bought it from so I’m not sure what part number it is. But it’s a straight valve. Does yours have an elbow in it?
