Installed my SS3 fog lights last weekend. Love them. Next up is a TRD Pro grille but who knows when that’ll happen. ‍♂️

Installed Trail Ridge tow mirrors bought from 1A Auto. Little mirror vibration, but nothing I won’t get used to. Love retaining factory Limited options, plus gaining side marker and turn signal lights on the mirror. The smoked light lenses are nice.
Also bought the Rough Country carrier bearing drop kit. Almost twice the cost of others out there at $30, but I had a credit with them, and I like the flexibility of being able to add/omit spacers. It proved invaluable; I have a 3/4” shackle lift, and started with one spacer. The vibration was still there when accelerating, but not as bad. Went up to three spacers; vibration still there, possibly due to too aggressive of a drop. Two spacers...Goldilocks, vibration gone. Still searching on what the proper torque is for the bolts. It’s all over the place on the interweb, CB says only 25lbs, some sites say 60lbs, I just went with 60lbs and hope for the best!

I don't know about plasti dip...I plasti dipped my wheels and then 4 months later got FN FX Pro 18 in wheels. They look great and I don't have to worry about recoating them if they get scuffed up.

Soft top or hard top? I got the tri-fold hard top and have no complaints! Doesn't leak at all.

Changed my mind on the dip. Getting some bigger Ridge Grapps and looking at a couple of SCS and Black Rhino wheels.

You’re lucky! I ordered a replacement painted bumper cover for the front passenger side. The part number they quoted on the sales slip was correct, but they sent me the driver’s side cover instead. I called twice, left two emails and a text message, no reply all. They’ve lost my business that’s for sure

I’ve seen so many “mudflap” posts I decide to pull mine to see how I like it.

I’ve ordered from them before. I would definitely try to reach out to them again, I had a damaged shipping box and they helped me out with a discount.

Finished up my budget stereo build a couple days ago. I listen to metal, and this package hits perfectly. Even my wife who listens to rap and hip hop digs it. Super happy with the results. Not winning any sound competitions, but it’s absolutely awesome for me.

I found a sub/amp kit on Amazon for $225. Everything else was purchased through Crutchfield. My total combined was under $800, including all extra wiring, harnesses, friction tape, heat shrink, solder, and sound deadening mat. The Alpine KTP-445U is made to plug and play without running new wires to the speakers or for power. I purchased this first, thinking I wouldn’t need a subwoofer. Well, that changed so I grabbed the sub kit, costing me a little more, actually but hey, I’ve never done this before.

Alpine KTP-445U for the door speakers
Boss 1100M amp for the subwoofer
    LC2I line converter
Rockford Fosgate R2S shallow 12” sub
Hertz K170 6 1/2” speakers in 4 doors with included tweeters
Made my own amp rack using 1/2” mdf

Nice Geno as always. Sounds like a similar setup to what I got. Not winning a competition, but for the money it's an absolute huge improvement. Same here too, I listen to a lot of octane on XM, wifey and kids are more into hip hop which I can get into too. Both sound great. I think those Hertz door speakers are awesome for the money. They have a pretty big range before any distortion, whether it's blasting metal with tons of mids and treble or bumping bass in hip hop, they seem to handle whatever you throw at them. For the money those Hertz are worth every penny.

Installed a new Alpine Head Unit (iLX-W650) with Car Play. it’s one of the cheaper models but I don’t need alot features, just CarPlay, radio and backup camera. It works perfectly for me and it was a quick and easy install. I Used the Crux wire kit from Crutchfield to keep the steering wheel controls. Display is really nice to...
