I pulled a two day TIS subscription to go digging for some EWDs and learned about all the "aerodynamic features" on my 2021 Tundra.

Hey - now I know why they added those little ridges on the mirror mounts and taillights in the 2014+
They are "Vortex Generators" - gotta be good for .00001 MPG. They gotta be. Oh, and the ones on the mirrors "achieve excellent operational stability"

Removed the "Tundra" badges and replaced the OEM TRD decals. Pretty happy with it all. Surprised how readily everything came off with the heat gun.

    No need. I can share.
Pulled down the full set of 2021 EWDs, which covers everything built after August 2017 (2018 MY). I also have 2008, 2010, and 2015.

this time, I also downloaded the details on every frigging connector, including the harness repair info. I hadn’t done that last time I pulled down EWDs. There are hundreds of connectors.

Ive always wondered why my OEM tow mirrors dont have these actually. I thought they looked cool haha.

Real talk though, since I switched to tow mirrors, the water from the wipers sprays all over the drivers window

Yeah, I remember that from my 2008 with tow mirrors.
I need to find a set of Platinum mirrors without spending a mint on them. I've got some ideas in mind...

OK - so went back tonight and did a little more digging around.
Looks like 2016 and newer are all in the same EWD officially (EM27M0U), with some diagrams showing "Before Aug. 2017 Production" (basically MY 2016 and 2017), some showing "After Aug 2017 Production and Before Aug 2019 Production" (MY 2018 and 2019 - radio-specific changes only), and the rest showing "After Aug 2017 Production" (MY 2018-2021 - after they added TSS).
I've pulled down ALL of the individual circuit diagrams for all of those options, as well as the location diagrams, fuse lists for Pre and Post MY2018, and then only the connectors that showed up when I was in the "2021" Model Year selector (though I'm 95% sure it still pulled all the older connector numbers). Given how long it took to pull down the 2018+ connectors, I'm not going to re-do that, and most of them can be matched by shape another connector if you want the part number and the de-terminating info.

The previous 2015 EWD (EM26B0U) that has made its way around the interwebs covers MY 2014-2015.

The Service Manual (MY2016+) is there too, but you have to print each individual section manually...I'm not interested enough in that stuff to bother - the 2015 one should be close enough for most of it, and if I need anything not in there I can always pay $20 again for two more days worth of access.

Anyway...I need to do a bit of tidying up, and then figure out how to share it best.

Have any of you guys done a big break/rotor/caliper upgrade? I'm towing a decent sized trailer with a sxs on it about ever other weekend...Yes the trailer has breaks, but I want more stopping power...Thoughts?

BBK needs 20" wheels from what I remember to clear (and some aftermarket 20" may still not clear). I looked into it at one time for my 2008, but seemed like a common complaint was that the pads wore really fast.

I made the brackets from steel I got at Home Depot. Bought a piece that was 4’ long 3” wide and 1/4” thick. I then cut it to size and bent and made holes for tools. Used T slot nuts to attach to the rail system and then Quick fist clamps. Took about an hour

Replaced my taillight that I had broke a few weeks back. I was able to glue my broken one together and it wasn't terrible but I'm glad to have a non broken one installed.

Broke it, evidently. Had her for about 3 weeks and now the steering wheel controls constantly stop working. Horn/Lane departure work just fine, but everything else occasionally just stops responding, Stereo and dash controls both. Appointment to get her looked at by the dealership tomorrow morning.
