I like that idea a lot! If I ever decide to put a CB or Ham radio in the truck may steal your idea

I am gonna expand on this idea. I’m gonna make a y extender from the radio under the seat and put one on the dash rago and one there on the back console. So my kid can play with the gmrs radio

Went to get lunch and my battery was dead. Got a crank, but nothing more. I let it sit for about 30 mins and tried again. It started, but had a little trouble doing so. Wife wasn't home for me to run and get a new one so that will have to be tomorrow now. Looking at getting the X2 from Batteries Plus. Is the diode thing really needed or can I just bolt the battery in and use as-is? Thanks in advance.

Got the cap finally. Leer 180.

If you're in Vermont (or New York close to Vermont), I highly recommend Red Apple Trailer Sales in Brandon for a Leer Cap. Allen and Anita were absolutely meticulous installing the cap for me and even let me grab the boards from the shipping pallet so I have something to store the cap on when I take it off to load the TW200's into the bed. (Plus there's a REALLY good Chinese restaurant in town.)

Installed some Baja Designs Squadron Sport Ditch Lights using Cali-Raised brackets and a Trigger 4 Plus Controller. I also used small clips from Amazon to clean up the wires running across the engine bay.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Well, good news is I ordered some Alcan Leaf Springs. Thanks to the forum for all of the help for deciding one.

Went to Alabama to off-road/ camp and had a blast until my buddy flipped his Jeep. Good thing is that no one got hurt and his wife/ kids were in my truck. Long story short is that he went into a deep puddle and most likely got water in the air intake. It caused his jeep to stall constantly so we towed him out. On the last turn out of the trail he hit the deep mud too hard/sharp and he completely flipped.

It was a big eye opener to have something major like that happen.

Here’s a video of us pulling him out.

Digging a 4x4 out of the Alabama clay, in the dark, is not fun at all.
