My kid’s call it a Grampa Campa. I put a roof rack on it to try and sport it up a little. It’s soooo nice having the additional locking storage. Full bed rug kit and LED lighting make it nice in there.

Exactly! I mean looking directly in the red is still bright

my lady always thought the all whites were way too bright. I liked white better but The dual color is the best set up for me. And it’s awesome to change it with a button. Before the dual color I would have to pop in white and red over and over. Wasn’t bad after doing it a dozen plus times but got old after a while.

Now the wife, short wife says I need to get lower running boards, any ideas? I can’t be the only guy with a slightly higher than level truck with a short wife! One thing leads to another..

I once saw an elderly (and short) woman use a stool to get into a F250 at a campground. She then pulled the stool up into the truck through the open window with an attached rope and off they went.

Wouldn’t this deliver the full force of the impact directly to your frame, making it more likely to cause frame damage? I could see it being ‘helpful’ for fender benders but anything more it seems you’re taking any potential energy absorbing the rear bumper could do and delivering it all directly to your hitch/frame.
Could be completely wrong but just jogging some thought process here.

Being in the Pacific NW I consider a canopy a necessity. I had Snugtop build it with the rack rails so it’s covered under warranty and also went with the reinforced roof, LED lighting and integrated locking/unlocking with the FOB. Haven’t had a chance to Velcro my Bed Rug down yet but even with it just laying in there, it’s very nice. Love the setup and security. I agree the roof rack makes it looks sweeter. I’ll be looking into those soon enough.

. As I understand it trucks frequently take the hit on on the receiver hitch due to the height of the vehicle, which transfers the shock directly to the frame rather than the bumper which absorbs it. This thing is actually designed to collapse and absorb the shock rather than transfer it to the frame, or so it’s claimed.

Truck looms good. I went with the AMP research steps and now my short wife with a bad knee can get in easier. They cost a lit but definitely worth it.

Missed driving it! I'm in Breckenridge and I have seen several Tundras in various configurations including hauling snowmobiles, with a snowplow, and various toppers.

The snow was near perfect Sunday and yesterday - did my first double blacks! Today high winds scraped most of the snow off and left a lot of icy spots. It's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow so hopefully that will replenish the slopes.

If the trouble is you can't seem to get the angle of the seat bottom correct, seat jackers are likely what you need. There are lots of posts throughout the forum on those. I recently added them, and they add very noticeable comfort. There are a few folks who've fabbed their own to great success, if the price scares you away.

If headroom is your trouble, you might need to recline the seat back a little more, or maybe open the sunroof.:D
