Had a little fun with this mod! I am an 80's kid and Knight Rider was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. I always wanted to have Kit and the car. I'm thinking that they should do a remake using a Tundra.

How did they fix the turn signal recall? Did they install relay or just rewired the signal connector?

I did not make the post you referred to but, but I did find this little guy tucked under my dash a few months ago. A GPS/data collector based on my research. It can likely help in finding a stolen vehicle, but the fact it was connected/inline with my OBDII harness leads me to believe it captures driving habits as well although I can not confirm that.

The turn signal recall was depinning and swapping 2 of the wires. Most guys did it themselves.

Looks like Overland Vehicle Systems has finally designed an Awning that will fit mid height racks with our sticking way out in back. The 270LTE awning is just 65" long. Appears to be a good fit for those who dont want that long hang out or up above the cab hieght Awning

I've seen that type of device on commercial vehicles that are using GPS and monitoring devices on their drivers' vehicles to ensure compliance w/policies, etc...

OK, looks like square now requires exposing a physical address for any email communications. Saying that's now a legal requirement. Interesting. That really blows things up for me b/c I don't have a physical storefront.

Picked up the cover for the busbar. Crazy that this was $40.00 for a plastic box.

The ones that came with the skid plate? The install sheet shows a hardware bag but doesn't give a part number. I think someone found the part number for that kit a while back. I'll see if I can find it.

I swapped my rigid ditch lights for Baja designs xl sports. One of the lights was wired backwards and popped my fuse so that slowed me down a bit.

I also cut and bent a front cat shield/skid plate. Should be building a rear soon.

Do you have a place by you that has personal mail boxes like a UPS store or something? That should be able to be used as a physical address in their system. It’s what I’ve done before.

How did you remove the chrome tip? I have pulled, shoved, twisted, banged on it with a hammer and it does not move past the part that flares out. Any advice appreciated.

BTW I have 2015 Crewmax Platinum. Not sure how that affects things.
