What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Just installed TRD Pro LED headlight housings with @iHacker (Lowlife Style) harness. Maybe 1 hour from start to finish. @iHacker instructions were simple and dead on. Should have done this years ago.

What you mean lowlife style harness? My ihacker order is being shipped right now.. I can get the lights overnighted to a Toyota dealership close by, won’t be long now until I have the LED’s in

Working on getting my spare tire in the bed with a @BashFab bedrail mount. Trying the bed side for now may try the cab side later.

Nice spare tire mount with lots of flexibility.
Might need to build some support if I keep it on the side.

Installed method 703 17x8.5 +35 offset with MT Baja boss at 315/70/17. Was worried they wouldn’t clear the camburg UCA but they do. Posted the wheel tire combo for other as couldn’t find too much info with folks running the 703 with that offset.

 

Time for a dirty deeds exhaust!!

Installed two custom made Static Climbing "cup holders" that'll fit our Hydroflasks. Was able to get several of the truck mods done on them.

In all seriousness... picked up my X2 battery this morning and now need to order the GM fuse so I'll need to dig back however many pages to make sure I get the right one, doublecheck the cut, and all that jazz. Otherwise I'll just top the battery off every couple weeks with our tender. I start losing faith in OEM car batteries after 2 years given my history with them. It really is nice doing it on my terms instead of the Truck's.

 

I'm happy with it. Honestly, I'm not sure what I really expected? Never done any sort of lift, but I've ridden in plenty of trucks that have been. This is WAY different than any other, and I'm glad. It rides effectively the same, just stands a bit taller.

My biggest realization was just how much noise and.... rumble? Not vibration, but bounce, stiffness, etc. was actually coming from my factory Nittos. Had the Falkens put on yesterday afternoon and they ride fantastic, and are whisper quiet. She needs a bath, so I haven't taken a pic with the new stance but definitely doesn't look like she skips leg day! They're large tires, but they're not absurd. No rubbing or anything, but it is worth noting I have the Ironman4x4 front bumper, so I have all kinds of clearance in front.

UCAs will probably happen, but it is by no means a necessity. I'm coming up on 40k miles so I'm going to have the shop (Teq Auto for anyone in the Houston area!) take care of changing over all liquids with this next oil change.

Sure fooled me !

 

Pry up the center console and put them in the channel along the edges. I used long nails in the loops to go into the channel.

Finally got around to ordering some tires to put on my trd pro wheels. Managed to find some Toyo open country AT3 in 285/70r18. Should be installed in 2 weeks.
