Also, took my truck in to the dealership and they couldn't reproduce the car alarm. When they tested the battery with a tester (as I did at AutoZone) it showed as still healthy. However, when they checked with the 'Toyota specific battery check' (guessing he was referring to the techstream?) it showed the battery was bad.

They replaced my battery under warranty, and the random alarm hasn't come back in the ~18 hours I've had the truck. Hoping that was the issue and I can put this mess behind me.

That’s a great idea to put a cap on the nipple, will help keep crap from getting all up in there. Especially during the winter.

Finally got the Valhalla rear shield installed. This time I decided to go with the truck bed coating spray paint from Lowe’s, instead of Line-X. Just glad to have this for peace of mind and not worry about your cats being stolen.
I decided to get the one with the tranny opening so it’ll be easier when time to service it.

Looks good! My rear plate from them doesn't have the hole in the center where it crosses the t-case...that is a mo-betta design now!

I love your wheel/tire setup. My Wildpeak's still have at least another 20-30k in them but makes me want to make the jump to 17's now.

Looks like a few others already replied with options. I didn’t know they existed before this past weekend either!
The pass through sockets worked great.

Installed some eBay door sill protectors and Limited fake wood dash trim. Then interior vacuum and detail. I know the fake wood isn’t everyone’s favorite but I like the change. Clazzios and fake wood really class up the joint up for a SR5

Love this! I’ve been thinking about this sort of setup for a while now… I should just bite the bullet and do it…
Did you do the installation yourself? Was it difficult?

It’s fairly new. He didn’t have this cut out when it first came out. I’d always thought it would be inconvenient to remove the plate when it was time to service the tranny. This cut out is a great design.

I like it, I think it works. But then I'm biased - I sometimes drive my '93 roadmaster which has the really nice fake wood in it. Mid 90s GM luxury.

I'm sure you get it all the time, but DAMN your truck looks good. What's your suspension and tire setup? Looking at lifting soon and that's the stance I'm looking for.

Thanks! Yeah I did it over two days in my driveway. Install is pretty straightforward. The instructions provided by Warn leave a little to be desired, but there's a few YouTube videos out there that help. Only part that was really tricky about it was getting it all lined up when mounting. I used a floor Jack and some 4x6 lumber to help get it in place. Really helped to have a 2nd set of hands to be able to spin a couple nuts on at the end. If you end up getting one and need some advice don't hesitate to reach out.
