Finally installed front camera. Decided to install under the license plate. With the recent lift, feel the height works well.

also installed the cigarette plug replacement for inside the center console.

Right on man! There's a super solid Facebook group call Colorado Tundras that I'm a part of that I highly recommend joining. I believe there are a bunch of folks on the western slope so it might be a good recourse if you're looking to explore your new home with fellow truck enthusiasts

    I don't know.

RCI is generally well though all through. But it is seems to be not etched, there's a lot of corrosion under zinc primer. Also the paint is thin. Valhalla's is not prepared at all, there's corrosion pitting everywhere under the paint. But the paint itself is very sturdy and resistant to everything but acetone. Very hard to sand, too.

I don't know. Buy sheet metal of proper gauge, cut and weld at home? ;)

Good for you dude. This has been my dream since I was a kid - living in CO. Visited a couple times. Not happy w/ the gun laws out there, but its my understanding that based on the area, they may or may not be enforced. I'll hopefully be leaving VA/east coast behind as well in the coming years and moving out there - or somewhere close. Enjoy your new home!

I moved from CO to CT in '90. CA was just starting their CO invasion then. It was a different state.

@OldNo7BoozeBag my stepfather said the same thing in the late 80s when he moved there from NYC.

We were on the eastern slope north of Boulder. Boulder now feels like the Truman show compaired to what I remember as a kid.

    Lots.
Mounted a 10 gallon Yakima Road Shower on my roof rack. I certainly don't need hot water on demand right now in South Florida, but I will this winter for sure. It's so hot here right now mid-summer that the heated water is uncomfortably hot for direct contact with your skin.

I wanted a mounting solution that would give me the option to mount the tank (or my awning) on either side of the roof rack as needed while leaving the top of the rack clear to mount my kayaks. I found a cantilevered mounting bracket that fit perfectly on my rack and awning mounts. It is strong and very sturdy, even when filled to capacity. I don't plan to keep it on the truck all the time but will install it when I need it like I do with my CVT roof top tent and awning.

I was out of town for a bit the truck definitely does not like sitting for long periods not being used. Ran a few errands then ripped a trail loop. Walked to see this nice looking tundra parked by me.

I like the bronze badging they did to match thier methods. I parked mine at BJs the other day (away from every other car/truck) and came out to find a gen3 hanging out close to but not next to mine.

What's that saying Birds of a feather...

    :D

EDIT: Also...thanks for fixing your headlights.

Are you all running spacers for these SSW's? I'm thinking about picking up a set of these but I'm on 18's now with coachbuilder steering ends. Just triple checking for clearance issues.

Did transmission drain and fill on my 2019 at 50,000 miles. Truck has NO transmission thermostat and was about 1 1/2 quarts LOW on fluid - I assume from the factory. I purchased, three years ago from a dealer with 13,000 miles. Transmission has no leaks.

Not much of an update, but they have confirmed it's coming through the windshield. When they blast the driver's side of the windshield with a hose of water the drip begins. I just put down a $355 deposit for them to remove, inspect, and reseal the windshield. It should be refunded if they find it to be a manufacturing defect (I can't think of how it couldn't be, since it's the original windshield)

No thermostat - it does have the round warmer /cooler (if you can call it that) attached to the side of the transmission. The thermostat is a separate piece, normally bolted on under the round warmer/"cooler" attached to the side of the trans.
I have most of the parts to add an external cooler but will have to purchase the thermostat unit to do the install.
There is a YouTube video on a 2019 - 2021 not having a transmission thermostat and the necessity of adding one to install an external cooler -" '19-'21 Tundra transmission cooler deep dive plus how to add one!"

Neither. Where the pre-2019 Tundras have a thermostat mounted on the side of the transmission with hard lines and hoses that lead to a radiator cooler up front, the 2019-2021 Tundras have neither. They just have a thermostat shaped plate on the side of the transmission to block it off.

You are correct about not driving enough. I work out of the country about eight months of the year, hence the low mileage.

Just took my second trip down to Dallas in the truck. 4 hours, ~250 miles each way. First time I averaged 17.3 both ways. This time I did better :D. Recently changed oil and filters. Kept it between 68-75 the whole time and around 1900 rpm. I was driving a little more conservatively than normal but not much, my speeding days are over.

Tell them to do it the other way around. Fill the cab with water and see where it escapes the windshield.
