They are compatible with parking sensors, lane departure, pre-collison, and adaptive cruise, but not BSM and RTCA, since the sensors for those features are in the factory rear bumper, and cannot be installed in the IM4x4 rear bumper.

Roger that. I didn't ask for specific service records in the truck, once I saw it had been to the same Toyota dealer every 5k for service since new. I just did the diffs, transfer case, engine oil, and power steering fluid earlier this week.

Planning to do brake fluid and coolant in the next week, so every fluid will be totally refreshed (even though most if not all had already been done), for my own piece of mind (aka OCD).

This snow is giving me ideas for new wheels :monocle:
Also I finally got to test out the KO2’s in the snow and they were way better than expected

Yes, my '08 one lost quite a bit of the padded feeling, and after years of dog wear needed to be replaced....

Don't buy crap off of Amazon; spend $100 on a nice replacement piece and enjoy that new feel again (especially since you're spending time to do the swap)

My first choice would be this place...

    https://leatherseats.com/shop/inter...le-lid/14-21-toyota-tundra-console-lid-cover/

I'd imagine Katskin would vend a nice product for another option if you can buy just the console and not do an entire seat set.

Thanks... great write up and attention to details to watch for :hattip:

PS>>> I would not have thought, but the black fender flares really do an awesome job of finishing the look of the truck w/the appearance of the bumpers, tires, wheels and your hood.... lookin' good!!!

Omg, I just saw the installation video. That is amazing! Definitely something I'll need to do when that time comes. It looks really nice when complete. Thank you!

Definitely bookmarking this. Padding on mine is pretty flattened from where I rest my elbow (I usually cruise with my right hand in the lower crook at about 5:00).

Finally got around to changing the passenger side spark plugs. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but I did end up pulling out the air box to unplug the front coil pack.

Found oil coating the threads on the plug in the 8 hole… I’d be more concerned but already found one similar in #7 on the LandCruiser. 3UR stuff apparently.

That is the standard 8 inch system that bolts right up so you don't need a pipe size.

Does platinum not come with a leather steering wheel?

When I was looking to buy my 2021, I had the choice between an MGM crewcab Platinum or SR5 at two different dealerships. I didn't have much personal value in the differences for a ~7k higher price point. Slightly different interior, few extra gizmos (driver seat 1 and 2, electronic adjustable passenger seat, electric adjusted steering wheel, heated seats?, etc.), stock leather and sunroof. To each their own of course as Platinum is a great trim level, just things I just saw breaking/malfunctioning at some point in the future that didn't care enough to be there in the first place. Only benefit would've been a higher resale value down the line if I considered selling. Oh and heated seats, real feel is -17 today in Ohio. Me and the kids are camping inside while momma is at work! Once these seats wear out I may look at upgrading them and adding heat.

Hey there, I'm really happy with the result. I haven't taken it out for a test drive just yet but I did start it up just a bit ago and it sounds amazing! As @Tundra234 said, it's the standard 8" so install was very simple to do it myself. I'd say definitely don't skip out on this.

Thank you! No resonator. I'll see how I like it without and will possibly install after. I got the 8". He really does! I have yet to drive it but every single comment I read and video i watch is nothing but positive reviews.

the Resonator will help to reduce ir eliminate the drone. I did a rear axle dump about a year after installation to clear the ICON RXT leaf pack so I need to reach out to keith to see what to do to fix the self induced drone...

Doing an oil change today. Probably the 4th or 5th oil change I've done on my 2019 with 35k miles.

In all of those oil changes, I've never once been able to get this little plug thingy to come off without spinning the entire oil filter housing. It makes an absolute mess each time. The only way I've ever been able to get it off is to take it to a vice and hold the filter housing with the vice while I put a ton of force to get the little plug out. Today's experience was no different.

Is there some secret to it? I don't tighten it a a lot when I put it back on, in fact, mostly just a hand tighten. My only assumption is the miles of vibration cause it to tighten itself on.

Lube up your replacement rings with oil and tighten the cap a little more, should fix your problem.
