What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Fixed my busted upper tailgate shock mount. $30 all in, including new shock! Love these forums and the knowledge shared here!!

Decided to setup my accessories with a Auxbeam switch panel. Got rid of 4 relays and button switches inside the truck. Plus, a new Duralast Platinum series battery to help power all light accessories and audio equipment.

The metal bracket was from OE (Overland Equipment) keeps the panel securely.


Since I only have 4 light accessories, the Slim switch was the best choice and it fit perfectly here.

This was the closest color to match the interior lights when it illuminates.


These are the new Auxbeam amber/white combo on the chase rack. I wanted a set of lights to match the amber raptor lights on the hood, and Auxbeam was the closest color match.



Custom badges off from Etsy seller. I requested an all blackout version, and it came out nice.

Thanks! Runs on a 20v dewalt, rubber on the drive tires, and goes just about anywhere he wants it to now. Not bad for a neighbor hand me down. When it dies it’ll either hit the curb or I’ll resurrect it. Got a little girl coming into the age for it so sure it’s got some years left.

 

I built one for my kids. Went from a single 6v to dual 12v on the drive wheels. They are fun to play with.

 

Can we do that? Cause I got new wheels and tires. 285/65r18. Stock suspension and haven’t noticed any rubbing so far.and lookalike pro wheels, agp pro22. And would add a little color with the trd center cap, but I don’t wanna be that guy.

 

Oh, and they had a hell of a time balancing the wheels. Don’t know if it’s that they are made in china. Or that I took it to a new big o tire around the corner. Ended up taking it to another big o town over and they was able to get it fixed for the most part.

 

Let you know if I find any skulls in there.

Had the rims and tires leaning on the house. Bumped the outer tire, it fell, and broke the centercap

 

Now you have a good excuse to buy new wheels and bigger tires. JMO

Do you, or anyone know, if you can just add a strut to the bed if your truck didn't come with this? I would like this but mine didn't come with it from the factory.

Mine has it, but I cannot imagine it would be difficult to install, as most auto manufacturers stamp out steel parts that accept optional parts, and then its a simple bolt on
