Just bleed my brakes today. Not sure if I got all of the old fluid out since it was super hard to tell from the color and I did not see any air bubbles come out. I used a turkey baster to squeeze out the old fluid in the reservoir and then bled about 16 ounces from all 4 brakes. Most of the 16 ounces are the rear brakes. Once I pressurized the reservoir, the brake fluid started to bleed out when I loosened the bleeder valve on the brake calipers. I would go back to the reservoir to check brake fluid level and top it off whenever I changed to do the next caliper. I didn't remove the wheels, I was able to get to all 4 wheels by crawling under the car. The front wheels were a little tight but doable.

Looked at a few Sequoias and sent out feelers

But at this point, you’re just putting money into a new rig on maintenance since it has an unknown history. You could end up doing the same things to it,you never know!

So better to save on ADValorem taxes and payments and just keep what Ive got

And when the kids get a few years older and aren’t as rough on a vehicle then get something else

At least that’s what I tell myself

Don’t get another vehicle until it’s an absolute “Need”

Take the 2 plastic clips out and pull straight out in the direction your headlights face. If your worried about the pins breaking from pulling then a plastic upholstery remover will work great!

Exactly. I had to jimmy the pins on the outer side a fair amount, since I don’t have the remover tool. I angled it to where I could get a finger under the upper corner, and it came out.

Cleaned out the bottom rear corner of the front fender, removing all the debris trapped by the fender liner.
I did one side last week when I installed the new antenna boot/grommet.

Didn't realize how much I miss this site until I start doing mods again on my truck.

So to catch up I installed new wheels and tires, finally got the methods and the Nitto Ridge put on back in March and love them!!!!! Recommend this set up to anyone and shout out to @t4r2tundra for the pictures on his dad bod dad rod thread. His pictures sold me on the set up and couldn't be happier.

Since then I've also done a few other things to the Tundra

Had hyper flashing going on in both sides of turn signals so I bought some built in resistor lights from @Headlight Revolution BUT they didnt work as planned. Put all 4 on but my rear turn signals wont work so having to send 2 back. They said issue was the rear is pulling to much amps so they are gonna help me out with some other lights to see if those work.

Then I finally also installed my rear seat covers, I gotta say they came out alright, was hoping for a tighter fit but cant complain since I never have anyone back there.

Now for the fun stuff, I'll have to upload the video when I can but finally finally FINALLY swapped out my Gibson Metal Mulisha exhaust for.........YES YOU GUESSED IT @dirtydeeds Dual Dumped Exhaust and HOT DAMN DOES IT SOUND WAYYYYYYYY BETTER!!!!

Now the install did actually take some time due to the bolts being beat to shit from the last install years ago and also rusted out as can be. Had to go to Lowes to get a bolt extractor kit and new bolts but need to get another set of new bolts cause the ones I got unfortunately are a 17mm head so I need to get some 14mm's. Also couldn't replace the nut's cause all the nut's were pretty much heat welded on to the damn flange's so I will have to cut them off later.

Infinity reference 8" powered sub. I think its called basslink or something like that. I'm just not a fan (anymore) of the full sub systems. I wanted minimum wiring and not have to worry about capacitor, amp, etc. It does the job, maybe similar to the JBL system (although I've never heard it). Definitely a budget and low power option. Sounds fine to me!

I am upgrading all of the lights on the truck to LED, so I bought these. I can't stand halogen bulbs. I wish they weren't as bright, but oh well. I also don't have anything to hide, so I'm not too concerned.

Finally got around to installing my Super Swamper 35x10R17 "pizza cutter" tires on my Vision beadlock wheels. What a pain.... The first wheel/tire took me 3 hours. I had to go to Northern tool and buy a "bead blasting" air tank to seat the rear of the tire after torqueing the 28 bolts. I was able to get a rhythm and finish the last wheel/tire combo in 45 minutes. I mistakenly thought I could drive to the woods aired down to 15psi (No f'N Way!!). These tires were sketchy on the road and I turned around and went back to air up 35psi front 30psi rear. I headed back to the trails (pinstripe alley) but stayed off the highway. I would be white knuckling it to go 65mph. Oh well, I think I'll take them off now and have them balanced, then keep them for the next off-road adventure but install them at the trail-head.

Thank you, and Yes. I kinda wished I had gotten 37x12.5 tires though. I would have had to do the CMC, but they might have filled the wheel wells better.

Very VERY nice. I was looking at those when the cast versions were MAD cheap. I kinda regret not pulling that trigger.

    This is my P2440 story:

Put on the Hewitt gen 2 bypass kit right away when I received the code and it went into limp mode and the kit fixed it right away. Brought in for smog the other day and my mechanic said it failed visual inspection so they wouldn’t smog it. Replaced the bank 1 air injection valve and removed the bypass kit. Went to smog today and the O2 sensors weren’t ready since I hadn’t driven it since putting the new valve on. So he told me to drive it around and I did and went back and passed smog today. I came home right after and put the bypass kit right back on just got done. At least I know replacing the bank 1 valve fixes it for smog so now I’ll just remove the bypass kit for smog and put it right back on afterwards whenever I have to smog it. Also mine is a 2007 4.7 and it is really easy to install the block off plates and/or replace the air injection check valves because they are accessible without taking off the intake manifold or any additional part for that matter. So relieved smog is done for another 2 years lol.

I am a firm believer of not buying unnecessary tools. A 1/2 inch socket wrench or breaker bar should be able to get that done without the electric tools. If not, PB blaster it over night. Sucks waiting over night but it works 100%. I have saved stripped bolts using that stuff. Also I have used a 1/2 socket wrench and mini sledge hammer to break it free and haven’t broken a 1/2 socket wrench yet with that kinda use. I use craftsman tool usually too
