Got a ceramic tint done, all windows but left the windshield as-is, and did tint the panoramic roof.

It's darker than I had thought, but I'll drive it for a while and see if I get used to it. Looks great, and the privacy is nice and the heat reflection will be awesome for the next trip to sunnier weather.

    What percentage did you get?
I just got my platinum done this week with xpel xr and I went with 35% in the front and back. So it’s around 25% in the front with factory color and around 15-20% in the back. Pano I went with 55% to be more heat reduction rather than light reduction.

5%, on sides and back and after driving around last night for more testing, it's gonna have to get redone. We'll lighten up the front door windows first and see how that goes. We did 35% on the pano. I really like the privacy aspect, but not if I can't see the mirrors at night and am afraid to back up. Oops.

This is my first time doing a tint, and I was heavily influenced by my teenager son who was getting his car tinted (to 15%), so the bad choice is all on me :)

I usually get 25%, this was my first time getting 15% in front. I like it, not bad at night. Did you try riding in your sons car at night to get an idea of what 15% would look like?

I did back to back ride in my truck and his car at night, and his 15% is fine, but I think we'll try ~20% for the fronts in the Tundra. And I'm not touching my windshield yet.. if I do that, it'll be pretty close to clear.

We had both tints done yesterday at the same time, so I didn't get a chance to try out the 15% before we did the truck, and in fact the truck went first.

That’s a good medium for sure! At least the weathers been crap makes it easier to keep your windows up for both tint jobs! Depending on how hot this summer is will decide to ceramic the windshield

yeah - my daughter's going to college in central CA, so we've made a couple of trips to see her and can certainly see where ceramic for heat protection will be SUPER helpful.

The tinter replaced the front seat windows with 20%, and left the 5% on rear seats and back windows, and 35% on pano. MUCH better. It's still tough to see through the back window using the non-digital mirror, but I think that's reasonable to work around. I'll run this a few weeks and see if we need to tweak further.

Here's a quick look from inside at the view out through the front and rear side windows, and the pano roof - in a very gray, very rainy day.

Installed Console Vault in center console. Super easy and now I have a secure area for valuables. Also routed accessory power from D/S fuse panel to the WeBoost for better cell reception in rural areas. Waiting on a bed rug and side steps!

Got i3 ceramic tint installed on Friday. He did 55% on the rear windows and back glass and 15% on front. 70% on windshield and pano roof, with a 5% visor.
After it was all said and done, the rear and front windows measured in both at 15%. 2AC277E6-CED2-43A7-8C2F-DE58B3D705B9.jpg

Added the first two of my required pieces of flair, which is typically the first thing done to all my trucks after the windows get tinted. Flag decals from Yoonek Graphics on Amazon, these are nice die-cut Oracal Vinyl in 4" x 7.5". Fighting forward!

I also picked up a set of the popular adhesive cubby / tray liners from Tuf Skinz, these are fantastic.
