    Lots of stuff!
I went the custom route because no one is making boards that extend past the cab on the Crewmax or Double cab.

Mine are about 103" long and provide a step to reach into the front of the bed. I have them at the powder coaters and hope to install them next week.

We used the existing running board holes for our brackets and added a rear bracket to support the extra ~2' of board to the rear.

The photo shows our "in progress" board.

Running the port installed power running boards.
They tuck in really nice and drop down giving plenty of stepping room, but be careful of your shins until you get used to them! They'll hit your shin and feel some "resistance" then retract back up as a safety feature, but it doesn't feel great.

@Pat80608, Looks great! Those boards look like they give you lots of step area. Perhaps a set of mud flaps will help keep the dirt and mud off them. I say this because the dirt isn't going to play nice with the motors. My sister has a F150 with factory electric boards and they get stuck quite often.

Thank you! I didn't even think of that. Constantly getting tiny rocks caught in the swing arm pivot area and it will either crush them making a horrible noise or jam and "retry" later. The A/T's have helped from picking up my pea gravel driveway but will look into the mud flaps. Going to try and find the sleekest possible option haha

I was really hoping for the port installed electronic running boards, but they weren’t available when my allocation came available. I went with the Go Rhino E-board E1 and my wife and kids are thrilled not to have to ninja roll out of the truck anymore. They add a really nice low/wide step that tucks right out of view when the doors close. Installation took a while as I fumbled through the dash disassembly and wiring organization, but happy with the final product!

Nice! Was it completely bolt on? How about the wiring it wasn’t plug and play?

No drilling or splicing wires, but I had to run cabling up through a rubber gasket into the cab from the passenger side over to the drivers side for the on/off switch. Sensor positioning and cable tie downs took me time to perfect. I’m sure an installer could have done much faster.

Does anyone have experience on these? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BWDM3J9Q/. I'm wondering if these might be too flimsy based on actual experience.

I like GoRhinos...just trying to look for a more cost-effective alternative this time around.

When did you get these? I ordered some about 2 months ago then finally gave up waiting when I had to travel so I canceled my order. Wonder if they are available now? I have pretty much given up on waiting for Amp since they won't even say if they will be available in this Tundra generation's life span.

    Follow up to my boards.

I picked them up from the powder coater and installed them.

They came out nice IMHO! Now they are all bolted down, they are very solid.

Great work on those. Love to see people making custom stuff when there isn’t a current offering on the market for the need

I have a set of the Go Rhino RB20 Slim line. I mounted the steps backwards after my kids complained there wasn't enough "step" for them (the logo is supposed to be towards the rear). When mounted correctly, they have a taper from the front to the rear, so the rear is much narrower than the front. I actually think they work better this way too; I don't necessarily need the steps myself, being 6'1", but my shorter wife and kids definitely do, lol. They've worked out nicely for over a year now. Plus, the price isn't terrible for what you get. [yes my neighbor behind me has my twin, lol]

Did you happen to try the Nin Clutch Amazon running boards? They look mighty intriguing at $152.99.

I got these Tyger steps off Amazon. Buddy had them on his 4Runner, liked how they looked. Pretty happy with them.
