Did you ever have to upgrade your pedal assembly due to the recall? I know I’ve seen it on a few posts. Not necessarily to change the sensitivity but because of other issues with it.

I have refused every offer to alter / replace the gas pedal... I guess I am one of the very few that like a responsive throttle. The other issue centers around floor mats that can get caught under the pedal, I solved that potential problem with X-act Contour Husky mats.

So while out and about today, played with the tow/haul mode. I gotta say it’s a remarkable difference. Not something I’ll keep engaged all the time but good to know it’s an option to enjoy some low end grunt.

tow haul mode screws with shift points to much UNLESS you are towing then its great. Pedal commander is the sweet spot EXCEPT I find if I am just driving slow I sometimes get caught with a HARD 2nd to 1st downshift. Truth be told I just drive with the way it came from factory less twitchy.

Adding a DAP tune, freeing up the intake & exhaust, and driving in S-4 helped me find my 5.7s sweet spot.

This! I don’t have DAP I just have a bully dog but I was able to adjust the throttle sensitivity to feel similar to tow haul mode without the high shift points. But it did firm up my shifts and give it that something extra. Along with exhaust and driving around in S4, I really enjoy driving my truck. Someday I will add gears and that should make it even more fun!

In 2008 I flew to Vegas to pick up the 2007 DC Tundra (9K miles) my father was selling me. He picked me up at the airport and drove me to the hotel they were staying at where I got in the '07 to drive it to Minnesota. Making the right turn out of the parking lot I started to give it a little bit of gas. 2 blocks later got a call on the cell from dad telling me to take it easy on the gas pedal - "she is a peppy one" was his phrase. Loved it.

Best $21K I ever spent. Miss that truck...

This. Tow haul makes the gas pedal more sensitive , changes shift points, and overall feels like a more powerful truck. A bit much for chill daily driving though, especially the touchy gas pedal.

LSD, Pedal Commander, and Tow button engaged results in a very hard launch. It does not help mid ranch or up top, but from a light, it tosses your head back every time, and I am accustomed to fast cars.
