Anyone else have a bed extender? I'd love the swing case but they're not compatible from what I've heard. Looking for similar solutions

I really like my undercover swing case. Holds quite a bit and its removable in 5 seconds if I want full bed access (even though it hardly takes up any room).

You can, but you lose at least 10 Overlander Credit Points. This can be offset by have fire slaps on the underside of your Diamondback which you can show off while making craft roasted coffee on your tailgate with a JetBoil and AeroPress to be sipped from a Yeti mug.

I have my eyes on those swing cases. I keep ratchet straps, moving blanket, jumper cables, small set of tools, can of fix o flat (just in case) 3 way trailer hitch, 1st aid, couple bottles of water, safety vest, fire extinguisher all in a giant plastic tub. Takes up a lot of room, and on a 5.5 bed, I want all the room I can get. Those swing cases look great.

only keep ice scraper and grocery bags under the seat so far.

I just keep them in the bed at all times on the hooks.

Toss in a couple 9mm/5.56/.308 casings back there too. After I started doing that my shit stays put.

I installed Toyota versions of the Swingcase, pretty sure they are the undercover swingcase with Tundra sticker. Had most of this in a plastic tote before installing these, figured I'll give these a shot and see if the work for me.

nice! is that a 7/8” yankum recovery rope? If so, what length?

Currently my 30’ is taking up most of my underseat storage so if that fits in these I might use one to reclaim that interior space

Yep, 7/8" Yankum 30' with two soft shackles in the middle, D ring shackle hitch at the bottom, and 8' Treesaver under the tray. That's why I got these, my Rhino Hitch and accessories were taking up most of my undersea space.

Bucket O’ straps in the back under the shell. 6-8 ratchet straps for trailering things. A tree saver / axle strap, and 30’ static recovery strap. Not doing any hardcore ORR, just pulling people or my mower out of my yard usually.

Recovery straps on a truck without tow hooks?

Where do y'all hook up to?

Also, a lot of these storage options seem mighty expensive, because stuff is getting put into the bed of the truck, which necessitates further expensive of a cap or tonneau..... BTW I'm talking about the solutions for small items, obviously some of the other things being stowed would require bed storage in any truck.....

I keep my ratchet straps in a bag which has a drawstring long enough to suspend it on the bed rail cleat, yet the actual bag sits on the bed floor so it does not swing around. I also hang a brush to dust off the bed mat, as well as elastic rope and an extension cable on the bed rail cleats. Keeps the bed empty for hauling, and everything is tidy and organized. The bed rail is super useful. Small stuff like leather gloves stay in the center console.
