    Wow, sweet truck right there!

Let me ask, is the cockpit comfort “night and day” above your ‘07 Tacoma?

I love the Tacoma, but it is far from comfortable. Seats sit basically on floor pan, low roof, cramped pedal layout in the footwell, knees rubbing center console/door skin, etc… and I’m only 6’1”. A skinny 6’1” at that.

I hear people whining already about the new Tundra not having enough interior room compared to the last gen. Coming from a Tacoma, all but the cockpit of an F-35 seem like an upgrade. What’s your take? How does the comfort of your new truck compare to your Tacoma?

The wind chill pearl and supersonic red are upgrade colors. Can you tell the difference in finish or in looks compared to the standard Color’s? Is the extra cost worth the upgrade?

That blue looks great in the sun! Great way to start off the new year!

I have to say that black is fantastic and that's coming from someone with the same truck in LR. Looking good!

I put a non refundable deposit down at my local dealer about a month ago. It doesn’t do you much good besides hold your spot in line. I ended up finding my truck on auto trader 3 hours away at a first come first serve only dealership. Who knows how long it would have taken for my local dealer to just randomly get the exact build I wanted.

I'm kind of liking the proportions here. I do love the cab space in my crew cab but I think I'd rather have that 6' bed!

Ya I have been looking at it for a few weeks showing “in route” or something like that on the dealer website. And decide to email them asking if they could send it or trade it with my local dealer. They texted me and said it was supposed to show up in a week or two and they would not do trades at this time or deposits to hold it for me. The next morning they called me to say it showed up early and if I came in right away I could get it if I was the first to show up. Being 3 hours away I assumed there was no chance. I told them call me at closing if it doesn’t sell today and I’ll be there first thing in the morning. It didn’t sell and I left at 3 am for what turned into a 4.5 hr drive through a blizzard. Got there 1.5 hours early and got my truck lol. Shitty thing is they told another guy the same thing and he showed up as I was filling out the paper work… felt bad but the sells people should have communicated better with each other. First come first serve and my habit of showing up way to early really paid off.

Oh ya just wet roads coming home. We have compact snow and ice at home here and this tundra sure does better in 2 wheel drive then the Tacoma even with the falken at tires. Do mostly to weighing about 2,500 pounds more I’m sure.

It is not easy to remove. You have to remove the seats to take it out.
