I have the follow on my truck:
35% on the back and rear two windows.
20% on the two front windows.

the match is pretty darn close to even all around.

Formula One Stratos Ceramic tint on mine and I can't see a difference in hue/color looking out.
    15% total on the sides/rear
50% on the windshield and pano.

Pano was open in this pic, it's actually much darker when it's closed.

The brand is Johnson Window Films. Today it’s a cloudy rainy day but tomorrow looks to be sunny. I’ll take some interior pics tomorrow.

I have ceramic ir on 2 front doors, 27% I believe. Crystalline 70% on the windshield ,2 back doors and rear window. 3M tint was used and it's all the same color/hue when looking out.
Didn't tint the pano. Having the front windshield done cuts glare down from oncoming traffic at night.

20 yr tinter wanting to chime in …search out a good installer and trust what he uses… as others have mentioned every brand have a different hue but the rear factory tint usually meters around 22-24% of light transparency
I use global ceramic and when a customer wants the fronts to match we go with 18%
We do not do windshields any darker than 70% bc of liability
But on a truck or SUV you can do the rear cargo area as dark as you want
As far as buying precuts ….def wouldn’t recommend it
We make it look easy bc of all the failure we already went thru!
Hope you get a great install

Those of you with windshield tint: have you had any issues with all the sensors/cameras up behind the mirror? Did they just cut around that area containing all of it? My installer hasn't done a new Tundra, so he wanted me to check with anyone who's had it done to make sure there were no issues.

He says Subaru's will give you fits if you put any tint on the windshield.

The installer will need to check all service bulletins etc. to see how exactly it needs to get done. My ‘23 did not react well when they did it. Once it dried the following day it was normal again, but it threw every code after they did it.

I had my ‘22 done at the same place and had no issues. This time it must have been a different tech. So if it’s not done right, it will be a pain

I plan on doing what DONAs did. 35% on rear windows, 20% driver/passenger but im going 35% on front windshield. In Florida you need this. Yea its not legal here but Miami Police dont give a Sh** lol. State troopers might be an issue though.

It was around $700....not cheap by any means. It's starting to get hot here and is worth it.

Ceramic is the way to go for heat protection.

Factory tint varies from 20-24%.....go figure - any good installer should have a meter and can tell you what it is and how to achieve what you want.

If anyone has ever wondered what the magic formula is...

    24% Factory x 35% Overlay = 8.4%
    20% Factory x 35% Overlay = 7.0%

    24% Factory x 20% Overlay = 4.8%
    20% Factory x 20% Overlay = 4.0%

Just had my fronts done and am quickly realizing, as summer approaches, I should have done the pano sunroof too.
