Oh yeah it doesn’t show up until you hit 25-30 mph. They’re off every time I start up.
The maintenance rec light is to remind me to change the oil in 200 miles since I added 7oz seafoam to help disperse whatever gunk is built up. @Shifty I read your whole engine sludge ordeal and am going to run a short 3k OCI with cheap Dino 5w30 and auto-rx +, is that still a good protocol for a gentle clean without pulling valve covers?

I haven't used Auto-RX, I know everyone has their thing. I like BG products and Seafoam products. I know @The Black Mamba also likes BG products. I prefer Seafoam in the crankcase, it seems to be pretty gentle overall, and slowly works away at stuff. Don't want anything getting in there and busting stuff loose. In your case though, I wouldn't bother unless you know your heads are varnished up like mine were.

Pulled fuses, disconnect and reconnect plugs with dialectical grease and checked wheel speed sensors today. Everything is connected that I can see, at least on the front 2 brakes. Going to try a zero point calibration tomorrow and I think that may fix this, but I guess it can be finicky when lifted.

However once I do fix my vsc and trac- I may want to wire up a little switch just like this video and put it in one of my spare button holes on the dash so I can disable the system when I want. Skip to the end for his solution.

That’s a cool video, wondering why you can’t simply have a dummy plug (resistor-based, maybe?) on the end of that that harness emulates a brake MC being attached.

I don’t fully remember because it doesn’t apply to me; but I want to say the VSC trucks have a body roll sensor in them, somewhere under the center console, and that’s what detects your pitch or angle and triggers/engages VSC, and it flakes out? The part is NLA, and was spendy anyway. I wonder if the other solution may be NOP’ing out that little bastard?

I will have to look into that, so far Ive had no issues like the guy in the video with it function when unwanted. I do have two little yellow sensors in the front on either side of the radiator that my 2wd doesn’t have so I know it’s some kind of vsc magic.
